How to Apply the Drive to Rule Method to pass your practical assessment!

Drive to rule is a difficult process for operartors to get used to, especially if they have had alot of previous experienece driving. Just like sitting your car license there are prcatices that you must demonstrate for the assessor on the day of your assessment.

These fall into three easy areas.

1. Always check over both shoulders before you reverse your truck. You nee to be able

to see a person picking up a $20 from directly behind you.

2. Make sure you disengage the truck before you engage the crane. This is

accomplished by applying the park brake and selecting neutral.

3. Make sure your tynes are parrellel before retreiving or putting away a load.
